D and S Halliday of Waterford Charolais were awarded Supreme Senior Champion Beef Breed Bull with Waterford Midnight Lightning.

“Congratulations to all the 2018 Royal Melbourne Show Beef Competition Interbreed Champions on their outstanding entries,” said RASV CEO Paul Guerra.

“And in particular, congratulations to all exhibitors that represented their breed in the Interbreed Competition.”

“The Royal Melbourne Show delivers an exceptional exhibitor experience, with the highest caliber of judges, exhibitor facilities and results technology,” Mr Guerra said.

“The beef cattle competitions are an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to benchmark their livestock to receive invaluable feedback from industry experts, and to network with industry peers.”

Mr Guerra also thanked the Red Poll cattle exhibitors for a terrific feature show.

“This year’s Beef Competition feature breed Red Poll cattle were well represented with some of the best Red Poll studs in the country showcasing and celebrating their breed,” Mr Guerra said.

“With a fantastic competition coming to an end, we set our eyes on 2019 and in particular the Angus Feature that will no doubt be a highlight of the Show catalogue,” said Mr Guerra.
