EQUITANA Melbourne 2024, hosted at the iconic Melbourne Showgrounds, cemented its place as the ultimate celebration of all things equestrian. Drawing thousands of passionate attendees from Thursday 14 to Sunday 17 November, the event brought together world-class competitions, Australia’s largest equine marketplace, and an unmatched education program in an action-packed four-day schedule.

Over 67 hours of thrilling competition unfolded across disciplines such as showjumping, dressage, barrel racing, and the uniquely Australian Brumby Challenge. The marketplace spanned 6,000 square metres, featuring over 300 brands and exhibitors. Visitors explored everything from state-of-the-art equine equipment to bespoke saddlery, making it the largest equine shopping destination in Australia. The Breed Village added some interactive fun, with 15 horse breeds on display, ranging from majestic Shires to diminutive Miniatures.

This year’s education program featured 160 sessions delivered by 80 leading equestrian educators across six dedicated precincts.
