What are the veterinary prerequisites?

All exhibits must be tested for Pestivirus (Bovine Viral Diarrhoea Virus) and certified as non PI (Persistently Infected). Exhibitors must provide a signed veterinary certificate or laboratory report, listing animals and their identification upon entry.

When do entries open and close?

The Melbourne Royal Beef Carcase Competition entries open on Wednesday 29 May 2024, and close on Thursday 18 July 2024.

What cards are accepted for the payment of my online entry?

Only Visa and MasterCard credit cards are supported as payment methods.

When will the schedule be available?

The Beef Carcase Competition schedule will be available on Wednesday 29 May 2024.

When is arrival at Melbourne Royal Show?

Beef Carcase Competition animals can arrive on Wednesday 25 September 2024.

When is judging at Melbourne Royal Show?

Beef Carcase Competition judging will be completed on Saturday 28 September and Sunday 29 September.

When is departure from Melbourne Royal Show?

Beef Carcase Competition exhibitors can depart on the evening of Sunday 29 September.

When is the Melbourne Royal Show?
