Meet Giorgi Boucher

Her dedication to these events has propelled her rise within Victoria’s agricultural show movement, culminating in the prestigious Melbourne Royal Rising Star Award at the 2023 Melbourne Royal Show. 

Giorgi’s journey began in Warragul, Victoria, showing beef cattle as a student. She eagerly joined show committees and volunteered across the state, notably contributing to the Pakenham Show and excelling in the Rural Ambassador program, achieving runner-up at the state level in 2018. 

In Cohuna, Giorgi expanded the Cohuna Young Farmers Challenge, garnering community support. Her tireless efforts earned her the secretary role at the Cohuna Show. Reflecting on her Rising Star Award, Giorgi expressed gratitude for the recognition and the opportunities it brings, including a committee internship with Melbourne Royal.
