Tolpuddle Vineyard Chardonnay, 2023 - Tolpuddle Vineyard
The 2023 Tolpuddle Vineyard Chardonnay has lifted aromas of orange blossom and white jasmine which are the hallmarks of a cooler season. The palate is powerful, layered and textured with grapefruit, lemon pith and minerality. All fruit was hand-picked, whole bunch pressed and fermented MCs 12 in French oak. The wine spent ten months in barrel with gentle stirring as required, then rested in tank on lees for a further four months.

2023 Shiraz - Four Winds Vineyard
The Four Winds Story began with a miner and his wife, Scheherazade, who lived in a slab-hut on their Murrumbateman property. Inspired by her favorite tale of a magic carpet carried by the four winds of good fortune, she named their small farm "Four Winds" in hopes of attracting prosperity. This is Four Winds Vineyard’s third win for the night, having taken out the Best NSW/ACT Shiraz and the Trevor Mast Trophy for Best Shiraz.

Tolpuddle Vineyard was established in 1988, and it took its name from the Tolpuddle Martyrs: English convicts transported to Tasmania for forming an agricultural union. The vineyard is planted with mature Chardonnay and Pinot Noir vines. The soil is light silica over sandstone and of moderate vigour, ensuring well-balanced vines producing grapes of great flavour and intensity.
