Melbourne Royal has a long association with woodchopping, dating back to 1911. Over this time it has continued to draw crowds to witness Australia’s elite woodchoppers compete for the prestigious Blue Ribbon and Golden Axe in over 40 events, including tree felling and the Tas Pickett team race.
