Entries will open soon for the Melbourne Royal ® Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA), the world’s largest annual beer competition evaluating both draught and packaged beer. In 2025, the Awards will introduce a Cider and Perry category, four new trophies and three new beer classes.

On Thursday 16 May, the best breweries and beers from across Australia and around the world were recognised for brewing excellence at the iconic Victoria Pavilion at Melbourne Showgrounds. Stone & Wood once again made its mark in the Australian beer scene, taking home the coveted Champion Australian Beer title at the 2024 Melbourne Royal Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA). The winning brew, their Hinterland Big Pale, captured the attention of judges with its balanced yet bold flavours, securing a well-deserved top spot.

Earlier this year, Brick Lane Brewing Co. made a significant impact at the 2024 Melbourne Royal Australian International Beer Awards, claiming two prestigious trophies: Champion Victorian Brewery, presented by Agriculture Victoria, and Champion Large Australian Brewery, presented by Barrett Burston Malting. This recognition solidifies Brick Lane's standing as a leader in the Australian brewing industry, showcasing their dedication to crafting high-quality, innovative beer.
