The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) named Melville Park Herefords, Vasey, Victoria, as the RASV Heifer Challenge Champion for 2020 at a prestigious celebration last night at Melbourne Showgrounds, following eight days of on-farm judging.
The Vasey located property, led by David Lyons was selected from the 32 entered properties to be awarded the honour and a $3,000 cash prize.

The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV) acknowledges the broad effect of the ongoing bushfire crisis across south east Australia.
With much of south east Australia impacted by the devastating bushfires that continue to burn, our thoughts and best wishes are with those that have been affected and the many volunteer firefighters, emergency services and community groups that continue to work tirelessly to protect the communities.
On behalf of our members, staff, exhibitors and clients, we are pledging an initial donation $50,000 to support the bushfire relief. These funds will be directed to supporting the communities during the relief and recovery process.
